You know what I hate the word ‘influencers’, reminds me of ‘influenza’ an annoying contagious virus 🤮 No offence, but most ‘influencers’ have no great long term influence in the world, don’t really bring anything really new or beneficial that I’ve known, literally follow other people’s trends and make 10 minute TikToks about eating a bag of crisps or some crap. They ‘influence’ school kids to just be a more annoying version of themselves until the kids move on to the next more current annoying thing.

People who really have the ability to influence and have an impact to affect generations of cultural change are your creatives, artists, poets, songwriters, directors etc. Real art done well creates emotive responses unlike any other communication form. You want to influence people to realise they need to have back their own control then those are the kind of people to influence whole cultural movements 🌍

Yeah they’ll likely follow wherever other people decide to go, but what I’m saying is depending on these kinda internet users for longevity of change ain’t something we should be doing, cos the ‘influencer’ realm is fickle and fleeting and doesn’t reach out to people across generations either. Small target audience usually compared to household name artists

And because these people tend to follow and not lead, if they’re not emotionally involved with the concepts of nostr, they’ll likely go elsewhere if they get bored 🤷🏼‍♀️ don’t want to generalise much but I think we get the gist…there are other kinds of people who will stick with it and help nostr grow and some who may not

Only exceptions I can think of would be if someone is actually experienced and specialised knowledge wise in a useful subject area and has a platform which doesn’t fit into any other category really

YEEEEESSSS!..💜
