It's here! The Pixel 9 Pro XL is such a big upgrade from the 6 Pro. I'm a big fan of the new edges and redesigned camera bump—it finally looks and feels like the flagship phone it is.

As expected, the easy data transfer wizard simply did not connect to my GrapheneOS phone. I had to set up the device as new, and now I start the process of manually moving things over.

I'm okay with that; it provides an opportunity to reassess my installed apps and remove the non-essential. Thankfully, the automatic Google Fi eSIM transfer was seamless.

It's a nice looking phone! I'm kinda interested in the Pixel Fold but man is that thing pricey!! Will stick with my humble Pixel 6a for now

It is. I am also intrigued by it, and this being the 1TB model was not much cheaper, but I don't think I'm ready to run a fold as a daily driver just yet. Maybe I will change my mind when I get to play around with one. Who knows? I've definitely got my eye on it.

Pixel 6a is a great size. Pro is still pocketable, but I feel like I have less range of motion with it in my pocket compared to the "a" size. I find I take it out my pocket more for comfort.
