Yep, Threema is about 5 bucks I think, for life. Session has some downsides people always bring up, but they don't affect me much. I don't really use it anymore, but it is free and no KYC.
But Snikket...I love that shit. Normies will actually use it. It sounds fun and MSM hasn't run any stories saying it's for criminals. You just do a Docker Compose on your server and it's done.
My daily drivers are Nostr, SimpleX, Threema, and Snikket.
Better switch to Groupchats on Threema from Switzerland.
