I guess the blue check brigade and gold check businesses weren't generating enough revenue for Elon so he wants to pay wall everyone and add even more microtransactions.

For most X/Twitter users they get no reach, they are just there to shout into the void and maybe get a ratio'd comment on an influencer/big account once in a while.

So what would the incentive be for them to pay to do that? To pay to see content that is posted on other social media apps for free?

If this goes through get ready for a new wave of #nostr adoption.
