My understanding is that the second amendment exists so that Americans can protect themselves from a corrupt government. The government has never been more corrupt than it is today. So I don’t see the point of the guns. They’re just toys that occasionally save you from a home invasion.

Do people really want to die for someone else’s freedom? I can’t blame them for wanting to just live their lives. Especially when overthrowing one government will most likely lead to the creation of a new government. The cycle just repeats.
