I'm not worried about the blockchain becoming too large. Even if all blocks ARE full it would be just over 50GB per year. Not sure where you're pulling 200 from? 24*60/10*365= 52,560 Mb Per year with Full Blocks. Storage follows Moores Law. How expensive was 1Gb of storage 5 years ago vs Today?
If people want to pay a fee to store their general data on chain, that's their prerogative.
If you are worried about Ordinals undermining Bitcoin, then Bitcoin is far too fragile to be the global reserve currency. I just disagree that Ordinals could do anything to undermine Bitcoin.
