Assange and Ross will NOT go free.
10 years from now we will still be saying “Free Ross.”

Difference of being in the club, and not in the club
These things differ in their political motivations. So the only solution is a political one; which means we'll either need to elect a candidate that will free those persecuted individuals (not likely) or tear down the system that wants to imprison them. But agreed! Continuing to virtue signal isn't going to win.
