Yeah, we have fiber but another company thought it was necessary to lay their own fiber (because why use someone else's fiber? (They used to be the company that others had to use in order to get VDSL over landline in your home)).
But the contractor that is laying it in the ground has (probably) snapped our cable and now we are without a fixed connection. Luckily our provider can provide use with codes for unlimited mobile data, so with a backup phone and a new SIM we can get by until it is fixed.
Because why would you send someone to try and fixed it within 5 working days? 🤔
