I give about 50 bucks a month to FOSS-related projects. But the one I tend to give to the most is Wikipedia. I still think it's one of the best tools ever invented.

#2YearLinuxChallenge check in. Haven't done one here in a bit. #openSUSE is still awesome. I'm back on xorg and loving every second of it.

r/unixporn is pretty boring when every post is hyprland and waybar.

The good old days when there were 10 different WMs and DEs that people used and posted rices are over, apparently.

Anyone else getting comments on videos like this? I’ve hade like 20 of em.

Anyone else using Zen Browser? How do you actually close a tab? The only way you can do it, that I found, is by expanding the tabs or using a keybinding

On September 5, 2020, I started The Linux Cast YouTube channel. In the four years since then the channel has grown further than I ever imagined it would. 9.9 Million views, 53,000 subscribers and over 1000 videos.

Thanks to everyone who has supported me along the way.

So my editing experience with Resolve is excellent. I really, though, need to get it working on openSUSE, where I have way more RAM available.

Please don't cancel #NaNoWriMo. I know the AI shit was a bad take, but surely we can work around that?

Hmm. To edit a video or play a video game? That is the question.

I now have six videos recorded and ready for editing.

Three more today.

On a roll.

Will edit one to post tonight.

So, I'm returning to Firefox for a video I'm planning and goodness is it slow. IDK if it is just something going on on my PC or if Vivaldi is just that much faster.

If there are any Linux Resolve users out there, and you know how to render to a format in Resolve that isn't huge and has audio do let me know.

I think this is the last hurdle.

So I have decided to buy an Nvidia card for my main rig instead of buying a laptop. It was the cheaper option. I do need a different laptop, but that can wait, and I can then just buy old and used like I normally do.

This means that I will be going with an NVIDIA card in my daily driver for the first time in several years. It may also mean going back to xorg, but we'll see. There may be some content possibilities here, too, to talk about the progress that NVIDIA has made. We'll see.

So, I am getting faster on my new keyboard. It is no longer painful to type out a toot or a message in Discord. Monkeytype says that I'm around 40 words per minute. Definitely faster than I ever got with the moonlander.

Overall, I'm liking it a lot. I need better wrist rests, but that will be for later. The ones I have are too light and move around.

The biggest issue that I'm having is with the space and enter keys. I am so used to those having stabalizers on them. They are now way too light
