Spelling "yeah" "yah" must me a new Gen Z thing.

Apparently my merch shop has been down for about a week. I had no clue. I've worked on it, and the problem is (of course) DNS. I've emailed Fourthwall support, we'll see how long it takes them to get back with me.

YouTubers confuse the hell out of me. Given that I are one, that says a lot.

Content creators who don't cover politics, decide that they need to add their two cents to the current political atmosphere, and then get all upset when their comment section blows up with people on both sides fighting each other. If you cover tech, cover tech. If you cover sports, cover sports. Stay the fuq out of politics.

I need a better backup solution than rsync. That's the lesson I've learned today.

I didn't lose anything, at least not anything important, but my rsync destination directory is a mess.

This right here is why Linus comes across as so unlikable. I even unsubscribed there for a bit because he kept bragging about his multi-million dollar house three or four times a week.

I think the lack of a good screenshot utility is what's going to get me to leave #Gnome behind. The default one is not great, and none of the others that work on Wayland work for me on Gnome. Get the same errors with grim/slurp and flameshot.

Let me ask a question.

If a PCIe nvme expansion card registers one nvme drive, but not the other three, which is more likely: the card is shit or the three drives are shit.

Note that the three drives do show up in lsblk, but show up s 0b.

I think I know the answer. But would like someone to say it to me

I love Krusader, y'all know I love Krusader.

But theming it is a pain in my ass when not in Plasma.

I wrote every single day this month (outside of my job of course). I wrote 16578 words in total. My best day was January 25 when I wrote 1427 words. My worst day was January 27 when I wrote 10.

The streak is back on. And I'm finding myself happy about it. #amwriting #writing #fanfiction #fiction #WritingChallenge

I think the worst part about the DEs available on Linux is the way workspaces work with multiple monitors. It's really hard to move to this way of doing things when workspaces are monitor independent on every WM ever.

I'm going to be mightily upset if Cities Skylines 2 doesn't work on Linux day 1.

I may install Windows.

Sorry no video tonight. Spent most of the day without internet. That was fun.

Podcast tomorrow unless my friends are out. Debian review on Sunday.

nostr:npub1wstchnnatqhe4ua983uhsn7k0mlvxlrdl8nfjledgr6ez7hcppdspcez75 weird. I’ve used flatpak steam with flatseal and it works perfectly. No need for lutris or even bottles. Although for a while i was keeping battle.net separate from steam with bottles and that worked well. Always had to give extra permissions with flatseal tho.

nostr:npub1s6ap0xtq77gjqmzk406wpmqyq3gfs0r6u76hne4ptx5722teae3qxu9skl It won't work anywhere on OpenSuSE. I don't know why. It is a dependency problem, for sure, but I don't know how to find out which one.

Okay, so the Proton mail did clear itself up. The DNS finally propagated. Fucking DNS.

I'm going to, however, move that domain away from Proton and just use Zoho. Several people have recommended it and after setting it up, it seems awesome. (It also didn't take more than 20 min for the DNS to propagate, so there's that win).

I'll test proton with the provided email address and use it for sensitive stuff.

nostr:npub1wstchnnatqhe4ua983uhsn7k0mlvxlrdl8nfjledgr6ez7hcppdspcez75 it's done on their end, but not across all other servers/CDNs

nostr:npub15lrw098mn4fnsv9j7e4538479q04xran9u8tv595nf68y7tk6wqq2qp2vs I planned on giving them more time before I got on the support channel. DNS is always a bitch.

Serj Tankian's solo stuff is so damn good. But it makes me miss SOAD so much more.
