I guess the performance gains enabled them to only offer the option to "reduce" animations, but that could be inconvenient to people who are annoyed by motions I guess. And there's been some important changes in extensions, updates could take time... And that's one of the reasons I just disable extensions in Gnome and go as "vanilla" as I can. ;)

..Gnome isn't my favorite DE, so some of the extensions make it a bit more usable for my part-time type of use.. ..surprisingly, most of the extensions i wanted (3 out of 5) were already updated to 45
