I just researched this for a family member with seasonal depression. I haven’t tried one yet because of where I live, but I’m ordering her one that was well rated for Christmas 🤷♀️
Check out chicken lamps. Much better mimic of sunlight than the LED lights

Yes.
Look for incandescent ones.
I don’t trust led, fluorescent lights marketed for SADs.
Maybe the daylight gents know more as they are in the business of natural light.
