Ah, so the “secret” was to use this site from Alby: https://nwc.getalby.com/

Perhaps if someone knows the zapplepay owner they could include a link to this next to the NWC field to help others who are new to it.

that would be nostr:npub1u8lnhlw5usp3t9vmpz60ejpyt649z33hu82wc2hpv6m5xdqmuxhs46turz but nwc is available from other wallet providers too, like nostr:npub1mutnyacc9uc4t5mmxvpprwsauj5p2qxq95v4a9j0jxl8wnkfvuyque23vg (which ben is one of the developers) and you can add it to your existing node: https://github.com/benthecarman/nostr-wallet-connect
