the same words and emojis def through me off too. i asked for the Instagram account name. i wanted to do some digging myself.
nostr:npub14yf4yasnqgpkzjrzhysshglf82e8nkp8r9sn5hzqu4n244k3avtshhwpyu helped setting up their accs and verified them via IG. So I guess the „prove“ post was done by her on both accs but only by having direct access to the phones of her friends.

If that's the case of her doing it because she had the phones, it would make sense why the language was the same.
I suppose if two of you feel that way, it might not have been the best idea after all! 😅🤷♀️. But, now that I've explained my reasoning behind it, do you think it would work if we kept it as more of a hashtag kind of thing? Essentially, each new girlfriend of mine would simply include it if she agrees to post on her IG or FB stories. Or do you think it might confuse people each time?

I must have missed when you went through this in the past. It's hard to see all content here on Nostr from everyone you follow. I'm sorry I missed it. Plus, we've had several scammers over the past year coming here and faking engagement and faking being a newbie, just to get Zaps. It makes sense. Zaps are an incredible signal. 🫂

I get it though. I see both sides here. We have so many damn scammers in this industry that it's sometimes hard to tell those that are genuine from those that are not. It's exhausting for both parties. Proof of Work will prevail though.

I had to prove I was real, which is understandable to an extent because, like yourself, I want to protect my privacy and I'm not showing my face.
I took the initiative and asked the girls to prove that they are real (so they don’t experience what I went through on here as I know it would just make them never come back) by posting it to their stories.
This alone took A LOT of convincing because they care about their followers and don't want to mislead them. I had to convince them that it's safe to post this image on their IG or FB stories and really assure them that their followers won't mistakenly follow them here, sign up here, get scammed here, and then blame them.
Now I'm showing you screenshots from our private conversations just to prove that we are real and we are different girls 🤯. I will do this once (because I don’t want you attacking them), but from this point on, I won't waste my time doing this because it's not needed.

Yeah, imagine how hard it is to convince girlfriends to come here, I for sure can’t then ask them to pay to get verified on some server that they know nothing about on an app they don’t even understand yet.
I’m literally doing all that I can to bring friends and verify them here and with their image from their IG stories lol and it’s still not enough 🥵 it’s gonna be hard to convince more to come if they all have to fight and prove they are real.
From my point of view the verification via IG is sufficient. Having the same „prove, prove“ post while getting purple pilled and supported on verification by the same person is not suspicious at all

What part of the world are you in? I grab a recreation map and look for places in my region that are the furthest away from population densities, and have water + elevation.

That would be maps like USGS Quadrangles and USFS National Forest maps. The forest service maps tend to have said 'recreation' data like campgrounds and trailheads. The quad maps will be at smaller scale, like 1:24000), and have more topographical detail that you can use to find peaks, valleys and wet areas.
Grab an app line Gaia GPS or my tool of choice, Avenza. You can download maps for offline use and venture away from cell service.

What is weird? I thought it would be cute to continue the same verification image/text so that you guys know we are all from the same group (I guess like a brand, consistency) since you guys have such a hard time knowing who is a real girl on here.
Also I am not managing their accounts, they are my friends and they manage their own accounts. I simply helped them set up their page, helped them connect their wallets, told them what hashtags to use for a newbie and told them to use Nostr like they would Instagram.
Go look at her IG lol I clearly can’t be me, Sofi and Darina at the same time. We all have different hair, different skin, different hobbies, different ways of posting 🤷♀️
