Only 32% of Americans polled say they support Israel, yet we keep being told that they are our "ally". Who voted for this "alliance"? What benefits has America ever received from it? How can the USA be called a "democracy" when our foreign policy is opposed by 68% of the population?

Their iron dome defense system was great for advancing our missle defense systems. We own the intellectual property and got to test and refine right there in Israel. They also do a lot of our artificial intelligence work. They share a bunch of their middle east intelligence with American military.
Personally I think Israel is a more strategic location than Ukraine for American Power. It's valuable. How valuable is debatable. It's like Taiwan. Both are great places for America to launch attacks if needed.
