Good evening. If you are embedding https://github.com/fiatjaf/nocomment in your website using the script hosted on Netlify you must change that URL to nocomment.fiatjaf.com instead.

Ok I looked it up. It’s funny and ironic how everyone on nostr uses GitHub.
Yeah, they don't self-host Gitea and work on its federation capabilities. They don't even use the centrally-hosted Codeberg instance of Gitea.
Just straight to Microsoft.
These self-hosted things are impossible to work with because sending patches and commenting on stuff is way too cumbersome. GitHub is good because everybody has an account already. Eventually we'll make GitHub on Nostr then everything will be fine.
It’s strange to use a centralisation argument here, and it doesn’t really take more than a minute to make an account anywhere.
Anyway, Jeff Cliff told me GitHub and Microsoft are evil so I’m js.
It's a network-effect argument. Centralization is just the means that is generally achieved.
I also think they are evil.
When there is a Nostr GitHub it’s game over⚡️🟠🔥🌞
Wouldn’t that argument work against any self-owned solution?
