Good morning… that TikTok vid I made about #Nostr is popping off, but riddle me this: why do people keep jumping in my comments claiming Nostr was made by the CIA? 🤨 it just doesn’t seem controllable enough for those folks.

I have nothing against the feds in general. I have been around the block enough to know they are just people like the rest of us - not some invincible bogeyman. 😊 but it’s just odd to me that I’ve never had any comments on any of my posts where people have shown up talking about the feds/cia so much until I brought up nostr and then they were all over that. Bizarre. Seems like a counter-nostr strategy to me lol

Could be. Many shitcoiners (crypto bros) dont like nostr, bcuz it was made by a Bitcoiner 😂

Also many think everything is a conspiracy and made by feds. NOSTR sounds too good and people are skeptical and look for a conspiracy that explains how decentralized protocol for communication could exist
