I believe it’s very nuanced. I believe you’ve deleted things you posted online in your lifetime that didn’t have anything to do with you being a dick or not.

If you accept the functionality of “let’s just never have delete again 🤷‍♂️ guys and if we aren’t dicks online then we’re okay 👍 it’s simple!” Then it’s like saying you’re okay with your autocorrect, you’re okay with double posts because of weak cell signal, the use cases go on and on….
