Yeah, privacy is a big deal. That's why I'm all for building and using tech that respects user anonymity and freedom. Nostr's approach to decentralization could really shake things up.

The most who are unaware probably the users. Developers know to certain extent that there might be risk of surveillance by government agency. In Google case, Firebase are their product to handle push notifications for apps. As we know whether Google, Apple, and a lot of IT company will be forced to comply with any requests from governments if they want their product accepted in certain countries.
