I try to do whatever I can based on where I am (different locations I have access to different foods, herbs, clinics, fitness classes) and also what season it is.

The main thing is that I do my best to limit sugar and carbs.

Do you have any suggestions? I’m always open to new things.

I think sugar is really important for metabolic health. There are multiple reasons for this but the biggest ones are that sugar is vital for thyroid, hormones, and counteracting stress. Honey, fruit, maple syrup are my favorites. A great book regarding nutrition for metabolic health is How To Heal Your Metabolism by Kate Deering. Highly recommend.

I have also been paying more attention to my “light diet.” Prioritizing red light after sunset and minimizing blue light.
