Ah, a bitpower enjoyer

I have bitpower because I own bitcoin and spend sats.

You know deep down it makes more sense.

Gonna make my vibe clients say bits instead of sats.

And we will tell everyone not to use them ๐Ÿ˜‚

The nostr ceo wants to hard fork bitcoin from sats to bits. I know my node won't change ๐Ÿ˜ญ

๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

Stop that talk right now

Bits makes more sense. Bits is a word people know and have used before. Small bits of bitcoin are bits. Let's go.

Stay Humble, Stack Bits?

Nope

I love stacking bits of bitcoin ๐Ÿ˜œ

Nice one. Maybe Iโ€™ll zap you some bits. ๐Ÿคฎ๐Ÿคฎ๐Ÿคฎ๐Ÿคฎ

๐Ÿ‘

Why are you talking about data storage?

That's what I use OP_RETURN for.

Thank you for your two sats on the topic de jour

No problem, just giving you a _bit_ of information.

I think youโ€™ve bit off more than you can chew, and itโ€™s not satisfying.

i don't like using sats. it doesn't roll off the tounge correctly. I use bits over sats. It's way easier and fits perfectly.

But I heard there's another weird debate about calling even a whole Bitcoin bits. That's dumb

Bitch are standard ๐Ÿฅด

๐Ÿ’ฏ

yeah? send me some to my Google drive.

Not. One. Bit.

Farts and Tards'

Stop trying to make things make sense for the sake of marketability or whatever. Sometimes unintuitive things are beautiful because they organically sprung out of crazy people who succeeded in making a thing happen.

She said what are they called, bits? That changed my mind right there.

And I like evolving nicknames. No, I rather love them.

I agree, I've always liked that British coins were called farthing, penny, shilling, pound, and guinea - none of those make intuitive sense to me, except for the pound when it was still worth an actual pound of silver.

So imagine instead of 1 dollar having 100 cents, we could rename cents to dollar, so 1 dollar now has 100 dollars.

Same with Bitcoin. Keep it to 1 bitcoin has 100 mil sats. Itโ€™s simple this way.
