I'd suggest Boswell for starting out. They have a good selection of everything, so you can progress through the different types of tobacco and find what you like. Corncob for your first pipe, and matches to light. You need some pipe cleaners and a "pipe nail" for tamping/cleaning. The Pickle can give you an idea of what that all costs at today's prices, but I'm pretty sure still under a hundo. If you get into it, I'd say come do a little Corny Chat walkthrough session the first time. We can help you avoid some technique pitfalls that way.

Boswell has a starter kit now: https://boswellpipes.com/product/boswell-beginner-starter-kit/

Nice. I never had corncob, it's quite rare here, but why not. Definitely don't go for cheap pipe though, I'd rather buy used one from a friend than some badly drilled quickly made piece of crap.

The corncobs are better smokers than the crappy drilled cheapos. I had my doubts at first, because they are janky af, but now I own a bunch. These are also good: https://morganpipes.com/collections/bones
