Watch videos of people simply walking down the streets of London in the early 20th century to understand that social media hasn’t changed human nature.

Television started this normalization of disrespect, but social media took it to a personal level, where one could put into practice what they had learned from television.

Pointless to single out social media, or internet participation.

Why? In days of old, when people would stand in a bar drinking and chatting, if someone was as rude as people frequently are today online they'd have learned very quickly to moderate the way they respond.

Perhaps but I might point out that the BS causing the so called "rude comments" would likely have been responded to the same way... 😂

And therefore required no comment.

Negative reinforcement works wonders. 😂
