That's why we only let the idiots run the ECMO, impella, ventilators, crash carts, CRRT, sedation, and pressors. I am the idiot 😉
If the argument that the barrier to entry into the this much needed field is far too high and prohibitive for the bulk of the work required, I would agree.
But we still need less idiots and more intelligent caregivers.
