Every time I have tried to do 100% carnivore, I reach a point of constipation a couple days later that makes me give in and consume fiber to resolve it. Thought on breaking past that threshold?

I believe this means you need to consume more grease and fat, not just the lean meat... but this guy will know:

Psyllium husk, other natural fibers, and probiotics from fermented foods with most meals works well for me and I have the same problems.

Sweet potatoes, squash, iceberg lettuce, and acabados are especially helpful for me. Also sauerkraut and sauerkraut juice treat me very well.

Yes, increase the fat. It is the number one reason for constipation on carnivore. Also, do know that going less and smaller stools is normal, as meat produces very little waste. But if true constipation as in discomfort or pain or trouble passing a stool, then up the fat. I have other reasons in my FAQs. https://tiracole.com/faqs/

Thanks for the advice! What is your take on cholesterol? I find carnivore to be great for inflammation and I am currently doing carnivore, but the cholesterol thing gives me a lot of anxiety still as far as whether I should continue this way indefinitely. I am 37 now and my cholesterol has definitely increased above the “acceptable” range according to standard western medicine. But I have lived my whole life with a lot of inflammation, taking ibuprofen far more often than I wish I did, and I find carnivore to be very anti-inflammatory. There are many things I don’t believe about modern medicine, but it still feels like a gamble with your health long term to not be sure about it.

This is 100% caused by lack of fat. You may need as much as 300g per day.
