nostr:npub1xnf02f60r9v0e5kty33a404dm79zr7z2eepyrk5gsq3m7pwvsz2sazlpr5 do you think you'll find a way past iOS' notification restrictions to bring about persistent LND (even if comparatively gimped to the Android implementation) to that operating system?

If not, what are the primary reasons (all because of Apple, I know) it's technically unfeasible?

Don’t bank on having the same persistent experience any time soon. iOS is far more restrictive than Android.

We will explore waking up the node with notifications though.

How does blixt do it?

Does Blixt run in the background on iOS, yet still have App Store access?

It'd be a surprise if that's the case, seeing how intentionally limiting Apple is in regards to background processing.

Sorry they must have had to remove it.

They had lightning box with persistent before?

When did this happen?

Wasn't expecting the exact implementation I'm blessed with on Android (for now, or forever depending on how life goes lol) due to Apple making developers' lives needlessly difficult if you don't do things their way.

I imagine it'd be even more difficult bringing NWC support (if that's even on the table for iOS) compared to Android because of these notification restrictions.
