Yesterday I was collecting nettles & ground elder and I blended them for juice. πŸ’š

To support iron production in my body, mainly.

Then I also collected some pine 🌲 and made tea with sage, rosemary, douglas fir (tree), lemonbalm and a small piece of eucalyptus. Tea was so so soothing. πŸ™πŸΌπŸ΅

It’s the perfect time to explore wild herbs and plants to benefit from them, here in europe. 🌿

Love this! πŸ«–πŸ’š

πŸ’šπŸ§‘πŸ’œ delicious πŸ˜‹

Very nice. For me the perfect time is when you can make the tea in the forest. Now there is the danger of fire. But also good nonetheless

The tea was so delicious πŸ˜‹

nettles are pretty common around here, i should get to collecting them

i was finding a lot of benefit from mint but mints don't seem to be common here... over in Serbia there was spearmint everywhere, was very nice to chew on it as i did a big walk from belgrade to sofia...

regarding nettles, be aware if you happen to have a tumble and land in some, usually nearby is another plant, called "dock" which is a big broad leaf plant, the juice of this plant is an antidote for the sting of nettle

nettle is also really good for skin, very high in silica (we have a lot of silica in our skin, funny enough)

Nettle omelettes.

Nettle Omelettes? Just like that?

That doesn’t sound bad.

A little salt and pepper maybe a spring onion too. Wilt the nettles in a hot skillet and mix with eggs, cook as an omelette
