Yep, they need to go. Bitcoin doesn't need them. They're just an expense and a drag on bitcoin.

They don't serve any legitimate need of #Bitcoin. The block rewards is the only incentive needed.

#Transaction #fees were not a part of the original design of Bitcoin..🙂

That's a good question and would require some work. But Ironically the #fees have resulted in just the opposite.

They've been flooding the blockchain with crap like #inscriptions, #ordinals #nfts #BRC 20s etc. Intentionally and artificially inflating transaction fees by flooding the menpool.

If I'm going to get spammed, and #fucked up the #ass. I don't want to be paying fees for it too. It just makes us ALL! look like a bunch of stupid jackasses..🐴🫤

It doesn't require a #Fork. All you have to do is remove the #fees from the code. Then miners that include a fee will have their whole blocks rejected..🤔
