i would say i am pretty well-read on the subject, yea.. and this book is a fantastic summary of a handful of the best authors on it. like Hayek, Murphy, Hoppe, Mises, etc

Ah, thank you. I'll make an effort to get back into it. I took a ton away from just reading the first 20% or so, but somehow always feel like it's homework and put off reading further

The first chunk is like a big fast tour of praxeology and if that part feels like work I'd say skip it and jump to the more "strategic" sections (healtcare, defense, pollution, etc.), which are pretty fun. you can kind of skip around in those.
