Replying to Avatar YODL

Are you well read on the subject, or just picked this book out of the blue like me on a whim? Just curious why you put the effort in. I was tempted, but lazy, and also unsure if I was reading THE BEST such book at the time, even though it seemed very solid to me

i would say i am pretty well-read on the subject, yea.. and this book is a fantastic summary of a handful of the best authors on it. like Hayek, Murphy, Hoppe, Mises, etc

Ah, thank you. I'll make an effort to get back into it. I took a ton away from just reading the first 20% or so, but somehow always feel like it's homework and put off reading further

The first chunk is like a big fast tour of praxeology and if that part feels like work I'd say skip it and jump to the more "strategic" sections (healtcare, defense, pollution, etc.), which are pretty fun. you can kind of skip around in those.
