A couple of times now I’ve had notifications of a big zap only to find no change in my wallet. I assume that’s the payment failing? Or maybe there’s some bad juju going down…

I've noticed this in Damus too... Sometimes it will say that I'm receiving a zap that I sent. 🤷🏻♂️
Yeah I’ve had that too, then I’m left wondering if I’ve sent something by accident. Makes Nostr more fun though I guess, it’s an extra layer of mystery.
