1) yes that's really him. he hasn't used the account since he set it up.

2) reporting does carry over from one platform to the next, but it's all handled differently between them. some do nothing, some implement a web of trust and auto block or recommend blocking if all of your friends block that person. most don't do anything. i still report scammers and spammers just to help those clients that do.

3) report for clients that do something about it. a web of trust or WoT is how we can help combat these sorts fo things. some clients have WoT scores, but again not all do.

Thanks, Derek. I’ve just reported the fake RFKjr account. Hopefully, others will do the same, and eventually, the fake RFKjr account will be swiftly canceled by all or most relays.
