Amethyst always has handled them well. I wondered what all the hellthread fuss was about when I first joined Nostr. Only pokey makes them somewhat frustrating, but mute works now 😎👌
I'm pretty sure it's the decision whether to actually honor the npub mentions in a reply or just the event mentions.
I guess Amethyst made the right choice.
Damus handles it quite well but primal seems to struggle

Amethyst doesn't bother you with any extraneous notifications or anything. Browsing is fine too, honestly things get crazier in a #⭕ thread. Basically hellthreads don't exist if you're using it. Everytime one pops up people complain and I never understood what they were, because I'm not affected 😂
This is only half true. While I appreciate the efforts and how great it works in Amethyst, the mute thread in pokey doesn't really work 🤗
