If your kid wants airsoft:
Get them the best quality, gas blowback replica of your favorite firearm so you can train realistically.
Reinforce that it is dangerous (goggles when shooting)
Don't remove the orange tip that signifies it is an airsoft
I have a gas USP clone that I've used for this. They're also good for adults visiting from no-guns-allowed places.
