Perfect! Navigating here means focus is on the road. Tonight I had 4 or 5 cars that I’m sure were 4 to 6 drinks in at least, couple of cyclists with no lights, 1 car with no rear lights in the middle of the road etc etc etc at least no cows or horses!

Oh my goodness. Yeah, focus is key there. We came up on a cow that got out one time. I thought it was a deer at first. It didn't want to get out of the middle of the road between two curves πŸ˜‚. Deer and dogs are the main obstacles on our roads, maybe the occasional drunk or meth addict wandering on a bicycle.

Here it is literally the norm to walk or cycle at night with no lights. Roads are narrow and no footpaths. Scary as hell sometimes. No street lights

I'd be a nervous wreck πŸ˜‚. We have a couple of gas stations with lights, and the occasional security light.

I have a friend who simply refuses to drive at night

I could get on board with that, at least until I got used to the ins and outs of it. I don't mind driving, but I'd rather be a passenger πŸ˜‚.
