hahaha while I'm not a fan of deep dish, regular pizza in Chicago is actually impressive. I also didn't make the map, just sharing to troll :P

Most of that anti deep dish bullshit stems from some ridiculous douchey east coast NYC elitist complex narrative anyways.
Deep dish is Fn legit and uses the exact same ingredients as any other pizza does. It just uses more of it and reverses the sauce & cheese layers which allows for a thicker, fuller tomato sauce.

Honestly this map gives the whole state of New York way too much credit. It’s really like a 100 mile radius outside of NYC, and that includes part of Connecticut and Philadelphia where a lot of Italians live.
Outside of a few spots in upstate New York, the pizza there is as bad as anywhere else.
And they left out Detroit pizza, which for deep dish, is superior to Chicago’s.
