How many bitcoiners do you think are deleting all their NFT hate tweets so they can avoid looking like hypocrites when they buy ordinals?
Discussion
Not this guy. Still hate'em both.
I would guess not many.
Or they developing alternative logic like bitcoin PoW NFT are superior than others NFT.
They are the REAL sound nft. đź«
Zero. Ordinals are kinda gay.
What’s a tweet?
If there’s any that’s too many
Maybe there's some value in inscribing. NFTs are dumb. Ordinals is a delusion.
I still don't like them the way they are now. :)
I'm just trying to assess the overall positives/negatives of technology that allows you to record information for all time without option to censor it or delete it.
That's super powerful and good. And I don't think any other timechain other than the one used as global money would have sufficient incentives and protection to actually ensure above mentioned censorship resistance and immutability.
So if we want to have this, I don't see better suited timechain than bitcoin's. But at the same time...does it make bitcoin little bit worse global money because of it? Or will bitcoin become something much more than just global money for everyone? I don't know yet.
As to your question...you don't need to delete anything. Changing opinion for good reason isn't hypocrisy. Bitcoin inscriptions are 100x better than Ethereum NFTs already.
I'm still not comfortable with nft on btc network
I don't hate them, but I don't really get the point. It's likely most nodes are going to prune that data at some point. But if they pay sufficient fees, it helps miners, and I guess that's kind of a good thing. I don't know. I don't feel strongly one way or the other honestly.
