I'm just trying to assess the overall positives/negatives of technology that allows you to record information for all time without option to censor it or delete it.

That's super powerful and good. And I don't think any other timechain other than the one used as global money would have sufficient incentives and protection to actually ensure above mentioned censorship resistance and immutability.

So if we want to have this, I don't see better suited timechain than bitcoin's. But at the same time...does it make bitcoin little bit worse global money because of it? Or will bitcoin become something much more than just global money for everyone? I don't know yet.

As to your question...you don't need to delete anything. Changing opinion for good reason isn't hypocrisy. Bitcoin inscriptions are 100x better than Ethereum NFTs already.
