The absolute majority of people don’t understand the concepts of log-scale, linear vs nonlinear correlation, probability, random noise vs long-term trend. I‘m not even talking about Bayesian statistics or probabilistic calculus (for god’s sake, no).

If you have a few hours of time, sit down and try to understand these (essentially pre-high school) basics, and you’ll be smarter than 95% of people on Earth.
