Hm, from marketing pov there's necessary shift from proof of work towards attracting sheep and doing more for them to onboard easily. Because in the end, most money will be brought by vast numbers of users. Primal grasps that concept pretty well I'd say.
On the other hand, as you say, we're still early. How Nostr will look to be actually successful and able to feed it's devs still remains a mystery to me, because it's celebrities and shitposters who actually generate some income, not the people doing actual work hereπ
Let's concentrate on feelings Nostr evokes in non users.
1) Do they even know?
2) If they know, what emotion strikes first?
3) What emotion do we even want them to feel? And strategy towards that.
4) Nostr has a ton of adjoined apps and for a user is all that absolute noise, there's high need of interoperability, vibecoding shitton of microapps is just a playground for devs to a user.
How do we work this into efficient model of sustaining good devs, because that voluntarist idea is nice, but not sustainable at all.
Main catch is to apply some centralized strategies onto decentralized protocol. It's like being given a filled ZOO, but without cages.
This could honestly be a long meeting instead of an email.π
