GM! ☕ 😎 I f***ing love Nostr! ❤️ ❤️ ❤️
I remember when I was 20, I had this weird habit of saying "good morning" no matter what time it was. Back then I thought it had such a positive vibe; made me feel better, and maybe others too.
One time, as usual, I greeted a friend with "good morning". It wasn't exactly morning actually. The person completely freaked out, saying, "because you're a lazy university student, you've been sleeping all day, so now it's morning for you". It was a total "triggered liberal" meme. And yeah, at the time I was surrounded by that left-liberal university environment.
So I learned that you shouldn't say "good morning" without a proper reason. It's not socially sensitive; I might even offend someone with it. Over time I also realized that anything positive, cheerful, or uplifting could annoy people just as much.
And now here I am on Nostr. And I say "good morning", and everyone is happy about it, because here it's the social norm. It feels like being 20 again... but this time, for real!
