Sometimes I feel like in the age of social media we’re expected to comment our opinion and be an armchair expert on every news event.

Truly not easy to do, but I have found most people are far more willing to excuse ignorance and have an open chat (if they are engaging honestly of course) than when being defensive and stubborn. However not every situation is objective or factual. We need to learn to handle that as well. Not every argument will have a logical conclusion.

We need to learn that not everything has a right and wrong sometimes it’s just a difference of opinion. Some arguments should be discussions where we learn where the other person is coming from.
