It's extremely apparent as studies are conducted that critical thinking skills are being outsourced. A woman just entered college not knowing how to read because everything was dictated to her aloud via technology.

If we go a more esoteric route, however, things may look different. Such as: if souls at a particular evolutionary stage find organic human bodies suitable for inhabiting (they need a physical body to interact with this plane + a brain to reason), are there souls at other levels of evolution that would be ok with inhabiting an inorganic body with an artificial brain (a reasoning model) given the opportunity?

But this is la-la land not suitable even for most nostriches.
