The payment part is anonymous, and with decent Lightning OpSec, what’s the benefit? The real risk is that Mullvad has your IP address. Confused as to the suggestion here.

If you send me the full payment amount upfront, I guess. Why would you need/want this arrangement though?
I don’t want to use PayPal or Credit/Debit card, Cash is too slow. Zaps are KYC free.
Account numbers can be rotated and refilled by different sellers.
It could be a use case on nostr, maybe even a micro app can be built around it.

Actually they do. But even if they didn’t, I don’t understand the need for an intermediary. You still have to wait for the intermediary’s payment to clear and you’ll have to pay their on chain fees to make it worth doing for anyone anyways. Either way, it’s all moot.
where do they take Lightning? I don’t see that on their site.
There is a site that you can pay through as a workaround. Though, full disclosure, I haven’t used it. You can’t directly do it with Mullvad, but then we are back to the someone else has to pay on chain issue. Are you worried about KYC’d on chain sats being used to pay?

If you use your zaps for a vpn, your vpn is free like mine. I see ppl here receive decent amount of zaps in one day and they zap em all away instead of securing a vpn payment from mullvad and then zapping the rest if thats what they wanna do with thier sats but this what i do other should be doing the same with sats instead of zapping 100k sats in 5 minutes to get followers. But everyone uses nostr different..

better than paying with KYC bitcoin or PayPal though? Cash in mail, too slow.

In both cases the broker (let’s call them) is centralized, but the buyer remains anonymous. Nothing linked together except a payment and an account to fund.
Obviously a bot automating this via Nostr would allow for more brokers to run the same automated bot, creating a market, but this is a marginal improvement if the other things have all been accomplished
