11 was not that bad if you are a normie. Runs decent.
The telemetry is really bad though and Performance is not as good as Mac and Linux. If you run a VM of win 11 in HyperV, using their image, it phones home to an azure gov site!
7 looked beautiful, used it for work. Kinda sluggish

Thanks for this useful overview. I feel like there is not much talk about Linux for my use case. Meaning that if most of what I need is a browser plus word processing and spreadsheet, then the technical barrier is much lower. I am on W10 on one machine and W10 + Ubuntu on the other, both upgraded from W7. Thanks for the heads up on the telemetry issue, is HyperV similar to Wine?
