1% can be a lot, but it might not be as easy to achieve as it sounds.
Why don't you think it's that easy?
Because the biggest part of a market always tends to accumulate on few individuals or companies. This is also known as power law distribution or pareto distribution. It's just not so easy to get hold of a significant part of the market, even if it's "just" 1%.
