It’s a little small for a cold plunge. I’m going to give it a try.

I killed my last worms when I tried in a 5gal bucket tower. I think I overfed them.

They usually breed to the food supply. It's possible they may of cooked if the feed stock heated up. Also try adding somenfine grits like sand or biochar so their stomachs have something to grind the bacteria up with 👍🏻

It got really wet and smelly. Thinking a larger container will give some buffer room for them to find their ideal zones.

If you spot that happening again, add some straw or shredded paper/cardboard. Otherwise your logic is sound 👍🏻
