I had an A432 request tuning the other day and the woman presented me with this. What do you think?

Hey man... I'm starting to believe. Although piano frequencies are so rich in all layers and I cannot just make sense of changing it a bit down and spiritual implications... It just dazzles me...

But I will try it myself and see what happens .

I did a 435hz tuning once in my old 120 years old piano and it felt good... Like mellow and looser in vibes.

Now I have my pianos in a Coleman 11 temperament that I really like.

What is your point of view on that 432hz? I'm about to try it I think in my pianos

I think it's not just A432 but a whole different temperament system in which we would have to set a digital tuner up and try it.

And then see how it feels.

How it feels is most of it, if not all of it.

And I see it's not something we can just hear in a recording. I mean different temperaments. It needs to be felt and played with to sense what frequencies do when clash and mix.

Also I think we need to find a different temperament than equal temperament. It's good and purposeful but it's dull and it lacks colour and expression in my opinion. Its just too flat and orderly.

Just to upgrade consciousness and music a bit.

Sorry for the insistence but how would you go to tune a piano on Rob Edward Grant's Precise tuning temperament?

Would you use a software?

Yes, I would use a digital aid. The frequencies are close to those at equal temperament so I would probably start with that and then tweak it.

I think A432 is valuable and appropriate but is also surrounded by a lot of myth and bad info. I had my piano there for a few years and recently moved it to A435 to try that for a while. I have not found a favorite temperament yet though.
