So far I have heard privacy and fungibility as main arguments.
Privacy is not required for Money and with real privacy you simply can't buy anything were goverment is involved, house land car insurance etc.
Besides that I think Bitcoin can give you privacy if needed.
Fungibility is a really nice feature.
But if I ask how we can check total supply or prevent a double spend no one has given me any explanation so far.

I don't think we should feel 'superior' just since we believe in Bitcoin.
I don't think it is perfect, can't guarantee it will succeed in the future.
And if it was perfect still can't guarantee it will be used by a majority...
Money is both chosen and defined by humans and as such will probably always be at risk of being abused one way or an other, direct or indirectly.
As being a tool, both the will to use it and how to use it is up to the user.
Thus again the users with all possible flaws is the main factor.
I didn't needed #Bitcoin to be aware of human flaws and the fact current reality is not my favorite.
But Bitcoin offers a chance to change things for the better and in a mostly violence free way.
But if you realize how the current society works and is fooled, that same free to use, voluntary to adopt is also a huge burden and risk.
But there is little choice
We evolve in the right direction or not.
Bitcoin will be used as intended and give a new direction to mankind or not.
We are ready for it and enough will do what is needed or not.
Basically we are just an experiment of nature.
Evolution gave us enough brains to pretty much control most of our environment and determine our own future.
It is up to us humanity collectively to do what we want to do with that.
