- set up an LNURL server, open ports on your machine etc
- you also need a domain and you need to get an SSL cert
- you can receive zaps now... as long as you're online

I did the first step with Alby Hub. Can I run a cashu mint on the LND backend?
I’ve lost millions of sats running lightning nodes. Mostly my fault, but not always and I don’t recommend it to newbs anymore.

I think we should still never give up on this, it still feels like magic that this works - even with some headaches - in a self soveirgn way.
Just give people options. PS. I love ecash
But once you do it’s fucking easy and every pleb who does it has learned some valueable skills that might come in handy later.

Cashu is also the way forward for V4V streaming. The receiver can batch up the cashu from the senders mint and move it across themselves.
