Last release for LndHub was Sept. 2021.

Definitely look into switching over to Lnbits if you want an accounting system for wallets on your node. It's free and takes minimal resources.

Also let me know if you need some inbound, I run three decent sized nodes.

Maybe it works that good w therehey only had to worry about dependencies for a few years lol

The api has definitely stood the test of time! It's really handy like you say for things like alby or btcpayserver or just a buddy you might want to let use your node.

Still, look into running your own instance of lnbits, its vastly more functional and can connect to alby the same way.

I guess the question is .... can you switch to lnbits while preserving existing wallets? I have 3 made via LNDhub

You can run both at the aame time. If they're someone else's wallets you could always credit them in a newer wallet with an admin topup. After all the lnbits or lndhub wallets are just a database entry. A spendable amount from the nodes wallet, so to speak.
